Lesley If John and Janet's children were born around 1880, are they likely to actually be alive in 1841. What ages do you expect them to be? Anything more specific than Renfrewshire? Do you know Janet's maiden name? Regards Ellen.

Lesley This is the only family I can find on Renfrewshire 1841 with a John Whiteford of any age. (not true - there is a 66 year old one too!) 40.6% of Renfrewshire is covered in the 1841 census at Freecen. There are 2 John Whitefords, ages 6 and 66. April
