Bethnal Green and Hackney are very close together, and people often gave varying places of birth on the census. I would think it is probably the same person if everything else fits. Kath. x |

Jeanette, In the 1891 Census it gives Rose's birthplace as Bethnal Green , then it is back to Hackney in 1901 so I would think the girl born in Bethnal Green is the one from 1871. best wishes Hilary |

I am trying to find Rose Hill's she was born Hackney 1864 her dad Samuel was a cigar maker found that on wedding cert. I have looked every where I have come across some thing in 1881 a Rose Hill right age but born Bethnal Green living with her sisters Family Joseph Goddard and Susanna. Rose married1890 to Samuel Morphew they named my nan Clara Susannah so you can see the link if it is her. |
