Hi Rosalyn My DUNCAN's were born in Drumoak near Aberdeen George DUNCAN 1817 David DUNCAN 1819 Alexander DUNCAN 1821 Majory DUNCAn 1825 Isabella DUNCAN 1829 parents James DUNCAN and Elizabeth BURNETT. George DUNCAN married Isabella SMITH.His occupation was that of Boiler Maker which took him to Greenoak and eventually to West Hartlepool. Paul

Paul , I thought I had a DUNCAN in my tree and I have! It`s MARGARET DUNCAN BORN 16/12/1797 I think in Aberdeenshire and married to JAMES DUIRS or DURIS. Their daughter Katherine, or Annie,is a relative. Any help? Rosalyn

Paul Some counties of Scotland 1841 census are available on www.freecen(.)org(.)uk Remove brackets as usual. You might get lucky. All the best Ellen.

Hi Sorry have asked before many moons ago but does anybody have access or tell me where I can get the 1851 Scotland census George DUNCAN born 1817 Drumoak Aberdeen(age 33) Isabella DUNCAN born 1818 Skene Aberdeen (age 32) William DUNCAN born 1838 Kintore Aberdeen(age 12) Elizabeth DUNCAN born 1840 Aberdeen (age 11) Mary DUNCAN born 1844 Northumberland (age 7) Margaret DUNCAN born 1849 Scotland age (3) Isabella DUNCAN born Scotland age 1 children born after 1851 were born in Greenoak near Glasgow.
