Hi every one Quick question about an address, I have just recieved a Birth cert for a Cicely Sophia Ryman born 16/07/1887. She was born at 35 Kingston Street Walworth. Does any one know where this is, i Know it was in surrey back then but just wondered if its still there or classed as a different area. I have googled the name with out much luck. all the best Corrina |

Walworth is an area in South London, between Elephant and Castle and Camberwell. This could well have been classed as Surrey in the past. Louise |

Corrina, The registration district is St Saviour Southwark so that gives you a clue. Look up Southwark on www.multimap.*com or SE17 Crista |

Hello, I found a Kingston Street in Walworth , (South East London) in 1899. It is mentioned in Booth's Notebooks - Charles Booth undertook a social survey in late 1890's. Hope this clears it up. |
