Trying to find any details re the Death of my Great Grandfather who served with the 91st Highlanders. Born in Inverness, Scotland 2.10.1835. My Great Grandmother was Margret Hay Logan Robertson, they married in Aberdeen on the 5.1.1874. My Great Grandmother gave birth to my Grandfather Charles Evans McGillivray at Castle Hill, Stirling castle, Scotland 19.12.1874. The family have a medal inscribed Alexander McGillivray 91st Highlanders 1857-1858 with 2 bars. Relief of Lucknow, Lucknow. |

Roger, sorry to hijack your thread, but KAREN - how are you finding the info on Scottish deaths post 1954? I have subscriptions/credits for most online records, but am clearly not using them all effectively! Regards Ellen. |
