Hi - Any information on the following will be gratefully received. On the 1861 - London Census Timothy Collins, husband, age 33- ish, and wife Mary, age 28-ish. They married in 1850 and both lived in the St. Georges in the East area of London, which became the Southwark, St. Saviour, Bermondsey, Rotherhithe areas of London. Hope this helps. They may have lived with either of parents Patrick Collins or George Lynch in which case either father would be Head of Household. Other than a marriage certificate for Mary and Timothy I have no further info. on Mary. If Timothy and Mary had children then I may be able to move in that directiom. Many thanks in anticipation of a successful search. Regards, Rita

Have you looked on www*1837online*com [replace * with .] They have both London and Surrey 1861 census, but they are subject to the usual mistranscriptions etc. You need to pay a minimum of £5 to buy units and they charge 3 units for each household and 3 for each image you view. nell

Helen Have tried - well not me, but several people have, to down-load the DjVu viewer on 1837 but it has proved impossible so far. As always my luck, when it comes to computers. Thanks anyway, Rita
