I am trying to find the family of Emma Elizabeth Coward born St George's, Hanover Square, London in 1874. Fathers name is George Coward and he died in 1882. I cannot find the family on 1881 or 1891,I catch up with Emma on 1901 when she is married and living in Eastbourne. Help please, I am pulling my hair out. Regards Diane |

do you know the mothers name ? I had no luck with 1881 but in 1891 there is this one Coward, Emma 45 Sheerness, Kent Head St Marylebone London Coward, Emma 15 Bow, London Daughter St Marylebone London Coward, William 13 Bow, London Son St Marylebone London |

How old was George when he died, where was he born? |

George was 63 when he died in 1882. Have sent for Emmas birth certificate which I know will give me mothers name but just needed information about any other family of hers. I just feel like I am hitting my head against a brick wall with this one. Regards Diane |

When was Emma's marriage? Are we looking for a single or married Emma in 1891? |

We are looking for a single Emma in 1891. She didn't marry until January 1900. I am getting a bit confused about all this. Sorry haven't answered before but have to do the gardening in between before the rain sets in. Regards Diane |
