Familyrelatives.org. Help please

On the site once you find someone and it say view image what does it actually show you, would you find the mothers name? |

I think someone may have answered this on your other thread Hayley. When you view the image you are viewing a scanned image of the index, if this is post 1911 you will get the mother's maiden name. It gives you the GRO reference to order the certificate which will have the mothers name. Basically you are getting the same info as 1837online. The benefit of familyrelatives are that you can include area in your search criteria in the 1866 - 1920 period. However I have found familyrelatives throws up more completely wrong matches than 1837online. Some people have problems with timing out and being locked out for no apparant reason, I've not experienced this though. The choice is yours! Best Wishes, Jenny |
