100% sure its the correct one, got it from a relative only this week. she only had 2 children Florence Hindle who was born in 1908 and so it only says mothers name as Frances Newby and Annie Hindle born in 1912 which mother Frances Newby maiden name O'neill x |

Hayley, Are there only 2 childre? If not what surname do the others say? Also its probably a silly question, but are you sure the birth cert with the name O'Neil is the correct one? Pat |

Originally i thought it was but now i have found on her yougest daughters birth certificate that it says mothers maiden name O'neill then it can't be, i'm assuming she must have got married between the time she was old enough and the time she had her first child, in 1908 by which time she was woth someone else. Very confuused x |

Ok. I am looking for my g.g.grandmother, her name is Frances and we believe she was born in 1878. Originally we believed her name was Newby, and after finding my g.grandmothers birth on the TeesValleyIndex and asking them they backed up that her mothers name on the certificate was Frances Newby. However when we found my g.grandmothers sister who was born in 1912 it stated that mothers maiden name was O'neill. My Nan has always said she thought it was O'neill and that she may have married and became Newby and then split with her first husband and had children with my g.g.grandfather. But i'm stuck coz i can't find a Frances Newby being born or a Frances O'neill or any marriages. She seems to not appear until the birth of her children. Does anyone have any ideas of where i can turn next. From what we know she was born in Durham in 1876/78 but thats it! |
