Hi Isobel Thankyou for your time.I am not so sure though as he was 18 on the 1871.Definitely born in Huddersfield and lived in the municipal north ward all his life.This is a stab in the dark as I am researching from abroad and this Genealogy can be an expensive persuit! Julie, I have the 1861 CD for Huddersfield, but there is no names index, so we need to know the area. You mention details from a previous census. Is this what you mean as if he was b 1853, he can't possibly be on a previous one...

Any help to find a William Wilson born in Hudds in 1853 would be gratfully recieved. Previous census called him William Hry Wilson.Dont know whether his middle name is Harry or Henry.In 1871 was a boarder.
