where was she for 20 years?

We have a birth place for a Keturah Topp born 1840 Wincanton but doesnt show up on either 1841 or 1851 for there,we have a marriage for her 1860 Ryde I.O.W and shows up on every census since as Keturah James,but no idea where was before that any ieas as where else to look? Kazzie |

Was she in I.O.W all the time ? (sorry, don't know where Wincanton is) Just a thought Elaine :-) |

No Kate Laura was a no no all dates were to out,its just weird a family was found Wincanton where she was born but her not on either census,I think someone looked for on I.o.w for those years wasnt found,Wincanton is in Somerset,but also a lot of Topps in Dorset I have 1851 Dorset so may scan every parish in hope of finding her just hate being beaten Kazzie |

HI KaZZIE Can you find her parents and siblings on a later census see where the siblings where born. One of mine parents where in b either Durham or Newcstle still trying to find out which one, but their children where born in London and France, so family not in 1871 or 1881 census but found them in 1891 when back in London and have managed to trace them 1861 again in London. Unfortueatley had no joy with either 1851 or 1841 to try and find their parents. Hope this helps Maureen |

Have looked on later census cant find any of them so maybe did all go to Ryde when Keturah was small will just have to wait for certs to arrive to solve mistery Kazzie |
