1871. The only John I found was born in Bradford.

Many times on censuses, people go by one or both their names. He could be John, Thomas or John Thomas. The one I posted is the most likely candidate. Do you know of his siblings or parents?

This'll be their marriage. That's not going to get us anywhere today, but with his father's name from the certificate it'll help locate him with his parents.
