I have found birth cert. references on 1871online, but the quality was very poor! Could someone please confirm my findings? ALICE WILLIS 1856 Maldon Dec 4a 177 LOUISA EVERS 1839 Braintree Sept 7(letter?) 17 Many thanks!!!

The volume codes for Braintree should be Braintree GRO volumes : XII (1837-51); 4a (1852-1930).
