Thank you Louise, Fiona and Geoff for your help. It's very kind of you. Some members of the family have been trying to track Henry and his parents down for 10 years. I can see how it's taken them so long now! Yes please Fiona - I would love the page. I will have to send off for the cert for the Sept quarter and hope it will take me back to his father. hi jenny afraid to say quater was wrong. i have found him on 1837 same year and page and vol. quater is september. hope that helps.louise |

I sent for a marriage cert for a Henry Revell which according to free bmd took place in Hull during the Dec quarter 1843 - vol 22 page 256. However I have just received an e-mail to say that cert is not for a Henry Revell. I have checked again on free BMD and I have got the page and vol correct. Do free bmd often make mistakes? Any advice as to where to go from here would be much appreciated. Jenny |
