I'll get you the addresses in a mo ... but the IGI is International Genealogical Index and can be found free on the FamilySearch site. Brilliant for checking out Parish Records; pre 1837 AND sometimes upto 1880's ! Worth having a play with for an hour or so, till you find your way around the site. Elaine :-) back in a tick Put this into the address bar up top: http://www.familysearch.org then when you get onto the FamilySearch site, go into 'Search' and have a look round. Down left hand side you'll see IGI, click on this and it will give you a 'form' to complete. Type in the details of someone your looking for: birth or Christening of someone born around abouts 1837 to start with ... complete as many details as you can and then press 'Search' down at bottom next to 'Clear' You'd be better off having a play ... its the only way to learn ! Always be cautious of 3rd Party entries !

while we're waiting - use it in conjunction with:- http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb*com/%7Ehughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/ to determine whethjer your parish has actual registers uploaded. Beware records submitted by enthusiastic amateurs ...

And, as always, watch out for mis-transcriptions. LDS has a number of records down as Sussex instead of Essex, for example.
