hiya jess,soz taken so long to reply hetic day and fighting for time on pc now.yes the lodger was louisa..how acurate are the census details?? on quite a few of mine they change ages and places of birth quite regular so maybe she may have lied to save embarrassment(iligitamate child and all that)??? thanks anyway jess.x |

hiya kim,thanks for looking.im sooo confused..my nanna told me he had five children evelyn,hannah,stanley,gladys and Charles edward. know he married june 5th 1901 in st mathews parish Manchester(sorry didnt put this earlier do apologise)to Martha jane watson. just when getting help tracing her yesterday found Martha (i think)on 1901 says she's a widow?? listed with Evelyn aged 3 and a lodger in south manchester. My only assumption is evelyn is marthas child that charles adopted..and the census was taken before the wedding in june 1901.just means that the above charles cnt be him??as he didnt have children. the only other thing then is on the marr cert shes listed as spinster not widower?? ahhhhhhhhh.thanks for your time kim.get my head together now and try again.x |

please could someone have a look for Charles Edward Hall b.manchester 1869 to Hannah Hall(illigitamate son).last have him on 1891 census living in 17 gilbert st,Manchester aged 22 unmarried living with hannah,husband Thomas Fearnley and step-siblings thomas and Eliza. thankyou.x |
