Isobel Yes this is just one of them - the whole family were born in Eccleshill/Greengates area - far too many to mention here! On 1871 the addresses I have are 33 & 42 Greengates Rd, Eccleshill, Haigh Hall, Eccleshill, 10 & 13 New Line, Eccleshill - 5 families in all. Sandra - yes his father was also Richard (b Calverley) & his mother Harriet (b Otley). I've e mailed you. Apologies for the delay - just in from work! Debby
