Need a little help to trace her family

On the 1881 census living at Plas Madoc, Kerry, Montgomery I have David and Marie Jones. They had a Tryphena Jones living with them she was there Gr Daur aged 23, could anyone help me trace her parents.

She's with them on the 1871 too. Given the fact that she has the same surname, she might well be one of their son's daughters. But that's not concrete. Sorry I couldn't help more. She married John Powell in 1881. She's under Tryphena HOWELLS on the 1891. Chloe

Thanks for that I just forgot that I have that info married to John Powell and they had two children Mary & David and lives at Graig, Kerry, Montgomery.

If you have the marriage her father should be on certificate

Lisa Have you tried looking for her birth reference c 1857? Surely, it's her birth certificate that you need. Chrissie

Thanks Liz but according to the 1881 census she was born in Kerry, Montgomery, Wales.

Doesn't look like her birth has been transcribed yet on ancestry/freebmd - nothing for Try* born 11b Newtown registration district between 1850 and 1860. Looks like you'll have to do an 1837online search
