1861 Census Lookup - Chiswick, Middlesex

Hello there, I would be so, so appreciative if someone could look up the 1861 census for my family tree. I have the following people in a household in 1871, however with no father/head. I am assuming the father has died in the 1860's as they had a son around 1859. Please look at the following information from the 1871 Census for what it looks like a 27 Barnett Terrace?!? in Chiswick, Middlesex. The household is; Head - Sarah Lewis, age 37 Daug - Sarah J. Lewis, age 14 Son - George Lewis, age 12 Daug - Annie Lewis, age 8 Daug - Mary Lewis, age 6 Daug - Elizabeth Lewis, age 4 Son - John Lewis, age 2. Any help on the 1861 lookup would be very much appreciated. Regards, Ben. |

Hi Ben Have you checked 1837? There are quite a few sarah Lewis's in Middlesex but I'm afraid I havent got enough credits to check them all for you. Also looking at the Childrens birth places on the 1871. Annie was born in Oxfordhsire c1862, so maybe you should check Oxfordshire 1861 census first. Good luck Jacqui |
