Hi, Can anybody help me get further back than my great, great, great Grandfather Thomas Twyman b-1810(Sturry Kent) he married Mary Precious b-1809 and had 4 children I think, William Twyman b-1839 (Hearne, Deal, Kent), Mary Twyman b-1842 (hearn,Deal, Kent), John Twyman b-1844 married to Pheobe Selby b-1832, Thomas Twyman b-1845 married to Eliza Unknown. I have been trying to trace my family history and am not very good I have found as I cannot go any further back. Would love to find out who Thomas Twymans parents were and so on, has anybody any ideas. Simple answers please, as I am not very good with all the geneaology jargon yet. Thanks to everyone Zoe (very frustrated)

Hi Zoe I found these in 1871. On the image it is hard to tell if it is Tayman or Twyman but looks a little more like a w and the 7 couild just as easily be a 2. Eliza Tayman 15 Herne, Kent, England Daughter Herne Kent May Tayman 62 Nonington, Kent, England Wife Herne Kent Thomas Tayman 67 Sturry, Kent, England Head Herne Kent I have saved the image, if you give me your email address I will send it to you. Hi Zoe The next step would be to look at the parish records for Sturry. The Latter Day Saints have microfilms of them. You can order them from your local family history centre and view them there. Get the parish records rather than the Bishops transcripts as they hold a little more information. Janet

Hi Carrie, I think you may be onto something because, the other day when I looked at a family tree there is a Thomas on there who has family of those names. I will check them out. Thanks Zoe
