Hello Was wondering if anyone is able to tell me the first names and other details of the Turner family who lived at the above address c1901. The wife of the family ? Turner would have been born in Holborn/ST Andrews area around the 1860 -70s. With much thanks Danielle |

Hi Crista and Alice Sorry I dont know... This is driving me nuts!! I believe it would have been in the City of London - so Holborn/St Lukes/Bermondsey area but really am not sure. As for first name really have no idea, that is what I am hoping to learn but realize it is a hard one to crack with just the surname. Thankyou to you both for the reply Danielle |

Yesterday I received an email from London Archives about an Ancestor of mine - John Kennedy- who was a patient in the City of London Lunatic Asylum - on his file, it gives the name Mrs Turner (sister) of No. 7 U Block Peabody Buildings London as a contact. May have been in Westminster Crista. Thanks Danielle |

Danielle, Where and when was John Kennedy born? If I can find him on an earlier census I might be able to work out his sister's first name. I can't seem to find any U blocks on the 1901 census site. Crista |

John (aka Jeremiah) was born 1869 (son of James and Catherine Kennedy). The siblings I have for him are James Michael (m. Daly), Ellen Josephine (married Furzer), Catherine b.c1858 (married Florance McCarthy and wonder if he died and she remarried a Turner??), Bridget c1861 m.? and Alice (m.Ogilvie) I was told U Block but can query that and ask them to do a double check on the original. I know this is a big request so please dont go to too much trouble. With thanks Danielle |

Thankyou to you all for your help/link - am fairly sure that the main problem here is the U Block so have emailed London Archives and asked if someone could double check for me. Fingers Crossed they come back with any other letter but U for UGH!!!! Thanks again Danielle |
