I am trying to find who the parents are of Alexander Gisford who is my gg grandfather who married in 1863 in Bethnal Green. I have their marriage certificate which gives his father's name as Thomas Gisford. I have been given information that there is a baptism record for Alexander "Gaisford" at Old Church St. Pancras on 28/12/1839. I can't find any record for his birth and wondered if anyone can look for me on 1851 census to see if there is a family listed by the name of Gisford/Gaisford with a father's name of Thomas and at least one child Alexander. Many thanks. Jackie |
