Glamorgan Record Office look up please

Liz Pinkney Report 27 Oct 2004 20:15

If anyone is going to the Glamorgan Record Office, could you please do a look up for me in the Electoral registers for 1926 and 1929? I should very much like to know who the occupants were at 11, Gilfach Road, Tonyrefail. My mother was born at this address, out of wedlock, but we think her mother might have been sent to stay with relatives whilst she had the baby. I do have the name of someone who was present at the birth, a Ceinwen John. I am finding it very difficult to locate any details about my grandmother, whose name was Davies, so I am hoping this information will give me a lead. 1926 was the year my mother was born, but women did not have the vote until 1928, so both years would be useful. Thanking you in anticipation. Liz from Alsager, Cheshire.
