I am looking for the 1861 information for the Silk family which I have lost a large chunk of the records moving to Germany and Italy. I have some information I found 10 years ago when I worked in London and visited Westminster records but I dont have any info for 1861. I have a scribbed note of 1851 Census of Samuel Silk 72 Chelsea Pensioner Roberta 15 Daughter Daniel 23 Son Book Binder Harriet Silk Head 23 Alfred Son 1 Adresses 1849-52 14 Dukes Crt - Bow St, Drury Lane 1871 Alfred Head 44 Brn Kidderminster Worcs Harriet Wife 43 Brn Cullompton Devon William Son 18 Brn St Clement Danes Charles Son 15 Alice Maud D 7 Addresses 1853-57/8 14 Holles Cavendish Sq 1859-1880+ 3 Grange Crt Aldwych I believe William is my Great Grandfather. I have a bible for Wiliam Silk from St Clement Danes Charity School dated 1870 and a note of a death in my late fathers handwriting for a Alice Maud Tribe of 1/12/1915. He would have received this from my late Aunt Alice. Any help on joining and confirming the gap would be greatly appreciated !!! Many Thanks Dave |
