Hi I am having trouble looking for my great grandfather's death cert. He was born in 1875 Merrow Surrey and he joined the RFA and went to serve in India, he was married there in 1901. In 1909 he was back in England he had a baby son who died in the army barracks here. I know he went to the 1st World War, as I found his army medal card from National Archives. It said that he was dishcharged in 1916 so he did'nt die in the war. But I have tried to find a death but with no luck? I'm not sure where else to look now. If anyone can offer any help/advice. I did write to ONS and search the 1837 online but no trace. His army number was 2273 and he was in the Royal field Artillery 80th Battery as a driver. His wife Florence was remarried in 1921 and she was widowed by then.
