Nora Yule (nee Hardisty) I am trying to find the birthplace of Joseph Hardisty b about 1803. His wife was Ann. In 1851 She and the children were living in All Saints Manchester. He is not shown on the census so he was possibly deceased by then. The children were--- Charles,Peter,Sarah Ann, and Joseph. These children all worked in the cotton mills, But I have reason to believe that Joseph was a blacksmith. It would be great to find a link somewhere. |

This seems very likely. The date seems to fit and family stories tell of weddings in the cathedral. |
