JACQUEST I have recently discovered Leonard T Jacquest, born 1884 in Bromley, Kent but registerd in Northampton, his family home area. He married for a third time, late in his life, my Aunt Edith Nora Digby of Northampton. I'm reasonably certain he is my relative but have yet to obtain confirmation such as his marriage details to Aunt Nora. Hoping this helps those researching 'Jacquest'. Would like to receive more information on that family. Paul Digby

I am seeking members of the Jacquest family. My husband's grandmother was born in Northampton.

There may be some connection but I think a lot of Jacquests were Huguenots who settled in that area.

Do youhave any Zillas or Dorcas' n your family?

I'm also interested in the Jacquest name - my family come from Finedon and the surrounding parts of Northants. There are no Leonards, Zillahs or Dorcas's in my line as far as I'm aware, my ancestors preferred John, Richard, Mary and Ann.

I would be very interested if anyone has any evidence of the Huguenot link which Sue mentions. The same story has come down my family but I've found no evidence to support it.
