hi all,i am looking for information/relatives of THOMAS DELANY born c.1867,i believe in ireland because i cant find his birth record in england.he was married to THERESA DELANY{maiden name unknown}i also believe she may have been born in ireland,and they were married there too.THERESA would also have been born around c.1867.they would have moved to england before 1900 as theyre children were born here,CECILIA{my granmother} GERTRUDE and MONICA.i have dates of deaths and final resting place of all,any information would be gratefully recieved as this part of my family tree has ground to a halt,thanx,mark.

you don't say whereabouts in England so this may not mean anything to you but found this family on 1901 census at 130 Duke St Stretford, Lancs head of house Thomas P DELANEY age 34 occ Traveller metal merchant born Stretford, wife Teresa 34 born Manchester, children Teresa 5 and Cecelia 11 months born Stretford plus Mary J DELANEY 49 single sister born Manchester.

where was your grandmother born,, I have found a tomas patrick delany married a teresa lewis in 1890 Q2 in Chorlton,,, (could be a coincidence??)
They had daughters Cecilia L aged 11 months in 1901 living in Stretford and a daughter Teresa G born in c 1896 (the G could stand for Gertrude)
also Thomas has a sister called Mary S Delany aged 49 in 1901...
Could this be a relation to your tree??
