Hi Susan. I am not connected but had a look for you.
The lady above has supplied you with the 1901 census. I will add the extra that I have found.

Richard James registered Jan/March Qtr. 1890. St Pancras. vol 1b 128. They often did not register for a few weeks.

Marriage of Richard James CROSSHER(Error in spelling) 1889 July/Sept. Qtr. reg in St Pancras. vol 1b 36. to Emma Wood.

Marriage of his Father. Joseph Andrew Crosher. to Olive Penn Herring. 1852. Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in Buckingham. vol 3a 766.

His Father. also
Joseph.
1851 census living Loughborough
Joseph. 40???age changes all the time.
Coal Merchant. Born Bagworth.
Charlotte. 36.?? Born London.
Joseph Andrew.17, Born London.

1861.Loughborough
Joseph 54.? Coal Merchant. Born Bagworth
Charlotte. 48.? Born London
Joseph A. 28. Born London
Olive. 26. D I Law.
Frederick A 6 Grandson
Thomas A 4 Grandson
Richard J. 2. Grandson.

1881 49 Nottingham Road. Loughborough.
Joseph. 75?. Married. Retired Coal Merchant.Born Bagworth.
Elizabeth Hallam. 64. Born Scalford. Leicester. Shown as his Mother in Law which is obviously wrong.

On the 1901 census there is an Helen 13. 1888 shown. This was before the marriage of her parents, so have tried to find her birth and there are two possibilities.
Helena Mary Croucher,.??? 1888 July/Sept. Qtr. reg in St Pancras. vol 1b 157 OR (more Likely)
Helen Ethel Wood. 1887. Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in St Pancras. vol 1b 113.

Joseph shown as still married on 1881 but I think this should have read Widower.

Query death of Charlotte Crosher. aged 59. 1887 Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in Loughborough. vol 7a 70
Death of Joseph 1888 Oct/Dec Qtr. reg in Loughborough. aged 81. Vol 7a 74.

Birth of Frederick Andrew Crosher. 1854. April./June Qtr. reg in Loughborough. vol 7a 122.
Copy of this should give his Mum's (charlotte's)maiden name

There is a web tree on the Ancestry.co.uk site.
owner. AnnKnight818.
which has this family on, and would be worth contacting and exchanging information.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you think this is correct. Ethel.
