My great grandad on my mums side was Latvian, a naval captain. I have his name and his wifes forename, plus his sons name. This man died at sea (possibly in an explosion or other accident), in the late 1920's. Has anyone a clue where I go from here? They did live in Sweden for some time, so maybe he was in the Swedish Navy, BUT I contacted them, and they said they could find no trace of him. Thankyou. |
