That one looks more possible, thank you, although i didnt think she was from Lancashire!! Thought she might be from round Herts way but then saying that her husband although born in Herts his family in 1901 were in Middlesex then by 1920's he was back in Herts again with Lena!! |

It was the only birth for that name that came up on FreeBMD, but of course there may be more on the full index. Does the marriage certificate give a father's name, as you could use that as a checking point if ordering any birth certificates. |

Yes the marriage cert says her father was George Ratcliff, although i cannot find her on a 1901 census with these parents!! lol |
