From the 1881 census on familysearch, James was born in Liverpool, and appears to be married to Julia, born Devonport. He is living with father-in-law and his family. I can't find the marriage on freebmd or family search Sorry not to be more help...

Member Since: February 2006 Posts: 4 Send Message	I have been trying to trace my mothers ancestors.members of the Ord family.Her father was aHarold Ord born 1907 and he lived in wallasey,merseyside.His father I know was a Charles Henry Ord born in Liverpool in 1874.As far as I know his father was a James Ord born in 1849 living in Poulton cum Seacombe,But this is as far I actually got.My research hinted at Irish connection but an old family member has mentioned Yorkshire and Scottish links.Is there any one out there that can Help.
