Hi

I am still trying to find info on my Grandad George Fredrick Anderson. He was born April 1918 and I know that he had at least one sister Ivy Anderson.

My grandad married my nan Maggie Foster in December 1937, in St.Helens, they later moved to Birmingham where they had my Uncle George and my dad.

My cousen remembers someone saying that grandad and Aunty Ivy came from Holland or somewhere like that, how true it is I don't know.

I would really like to find some information on my grandad and be able to start to trace the Anderson side of my family, it is here that I have really got stuck.

Regards
Terri-anne.

Hi Terri-anne, do you have your Grandad's marriage certificate? It will give you his Father's name and occupation. This is the ref.

Q4 1937 Anderson George F Foster St Helens Vol.8b Pg.1373

Had a look for his birth, but the image was smudged and hard to read.

Could this be his death record?

Name: George Frederick Anderson

Death Registration Month/Year: Jul 1990
Age at death (estimated): 72
Registration district: Birmingham
Inferred County: Warwickshire
Volume: 32
