Hi Claire
yes this is the very place I got the information, but I did travel to Hampshire last year and got information about his 10 children, but he was not on the parish records, his parents that is, so was wondering where to go from here, brick wall and all

Hi Brenda how are you,
yes a lot of the childrens names were spelt that way, or should I say miss spelt, maybe neither of the parents could write and this is what the name ended up sounding like, but I did also look for Tippel, but again a brick wall, any other suggestions maybe ???

Thanks Frances

I wish I'd seen this before I went to stay in Winchester.....I was at the R.O. for 4 of the days and would have tried to help.

If you asked on Records for someone to check the marriage entry perhaps the witness names would help to identify the correct family.
