I have traced the Oubridge family back to Matthew, married to Jane and having children in Gateshead in the 1820s. I can find no birth for him but FreeBMD has a Gateshead death in 1859 which could be him. Please can anybody see a Matthew Oubridge (or lookalike!) in 1851 and I guess he would be about 58.
