I have had a look at the seamans service records on the national archives website, but nothing seems to fit, so I would guess fishermen,

There is a death registered for Tom Tummon in 1904 so I think I'll order that, it may have an occupation that explains where he was in 1901.

familys about seem to be dock workers, could they have been fishermen?.or maybe on boards ships.

next door but one is bertha tummon age 25 and a daughter bertha 1 month,says married but no hubby there

Hi, can anyone help me to find two families on the 1901 census please.

The first is Ernest and Sophia Jefferson. I do not know much about Ernest, but Sophia was born 1877 in Hull, Yorks. They married in 1896 in Hull.

Also Tom and Bertha Tummon. Tom (not Thomas) was born in 1875 in Hull, they also were married in 1896 in Hull.
