PomPom Report 21 Sep 2007 21:21

I have been trying to locate my grandfathers birth record since 2004.

His name was William Smith. He married Mary Beadle on 10th Oct 1908. Details as follows:

Place of marriage: St Francis of Assissi Catholic Church, Pottery Lane, London, W11

Age 23 years

Profession : Flower Seller

Address at time of marriage:160 Portland Road
North Kensington W11

Fathers name: John Smith (Deceased)

Profession of father: Butler

I have found a William Smith on the 1901 census, age 18years Occupation:Flower Seller -inmate -Kensington Infirmary. Place of birth Deptford.

This is not the first time I have asked for help in trying to trace William's birth record, I have even asked Anthony Adolph on here, he said just keep looking.

I have almost come to the end of my tether over this and ask for help in this matter one last time.

Thank you to anyone taking the trouble to read this.
