Hi

I am seeking 1901 census information for Rockhampton Austrailia.

Elizabeth Mason born in Larkhall, Lanarkshire, Scotland born about 1871 married Walter Humphris born Rockhampton about 1868 died about 1956 they married on the 20/11/1889 in Rockhampton according to the rites of the primitive methodist church.

Children William,Robert, Walter, Matthew, Henry and Christina.

Census info would be appreciated. If possible also death information for Elizabeth.

Any info will be appreciated. Thank you Joy

I'm sure that previous threads have stated that Australian censuses were destroyed as soon as the info had been extracted..........

No doubt one of our Antipodean members will let us know for sure............

Hi Reg

Thanks for taking the time to reply. As usual with my family research, just as I think I might be on to something good, I hit another brick wall. Makes me more determined to write down everything I know and events as they happen in my family for future generations.

Thanks Sue for confirming Reg's information. No census's makes searching difficult. Will have to put my thinking cap on.
