Hi,I have been looking for my gt grandfathers parents for the past 5 years and had no luck untill the last two weeks.I found my gt grandfathers marriage(at last) and his fathers name which is William Bevan. I have just looked on family search and found William he married a lady called either Ellen or Eleanor. Someone who is also researching the family said he thinks they came from Kinver(I think thet comes under Staffordshire). Please if anyone could do a marriage look up for William Bevan/Beavan and Ellen/Eleanor I would be most gratefull.Their first child was born between 1821/1824 so the marriage may of taken place any time before that date.
Thankyou
Regards Pauline

Hi Anita,Thanks for your help. On the 1841 census the family name as been transcribed incorrectly and reads Beason instead of Bevan/Beavan but looks like children are residing with older brother named William but no parents. It says that William jnr was not born in the area(by 1841 they where living in Tipton West Mids) but the rest of children were born in Tipton. Reads as follows.....
William aged 20,Joseph aged 15,Mary aged 15,Francis aged 10. Unfortunatly thats all I can tell you Anita but I am very grateful for your help.
Thanks once again
Regards Pauline
