Trying to find Ockendon

Looking for a connection to an Elise May Ockendon, my father's first wife - Elsie was born ca 1911, they married 13 June 1936 at Perry Rise Baptist Chapel - Elsie's address at the time was 23 Pearfield Road, Forest Hill. Father's name given as 'George', an 'E Ockendon' also signed the marriage certificate.
Elsie died November 27,1940 at sea in the Pacific. She was a school teacher, en route back to the UK, having escorted evacuee children to Australia. I believe she had 2 brothers - names unknown - I have preserved some of her paper memorabilia which I'd like to pass on to family members, I cannot bring myself to just discard them and want to ensure they have a rightful home. Somehow I think the name Herbert may fit in, may have been one of her brothers. Would appreciate any help. Mary
