I am hoping that someone can help.
I am looking for the marriage of a Matthew Mason born 12/05/1902 in Larkhall Scotland to a woman called Mavis.

I know that he fought in the Austrailian army.Dont know if marriage is in Scotland or Austrailia. I am hoping that from a marriage I will find out who his parents were.
I appreciate that I am asking a lot.

Hello Joy,

I have checked for the marriage on Scotlands People but marriages only go up to 1931 on SP.

There isn't any marriage for him there!! But then he could have married when he was older than 28/29 years of age.

Thanks a lot for looking, that was very fast. I wonder if he got married in Austrailia. Would you be able to check if there is a birth., for Matthew Mason in Larkhall DOB probably 12/05/02.

Hi Joy,

I can search for the birth, if I do I need to know what area is Larkhall in please. Also if I find it then you will get both parents names on there. So far I have found only one birth in 1902 for this name but I want to check its the correct area. If it is him do you want the image as well. This will be a copy of the registration of the birth and where he was born etc.

Just searched 1900 to 1903 and there are two so need to know the town or area. I will have to check both, any idea of parents names please so I get the correct one..

Larkhall is in Lanarkshire, sometimes referred to as Larkhall, Glasgow.

Hi Joy,

Yes that is how you send what's called a PM so I got your e-mail address ok.

Will send the image to you, when you receive it, at the bottom of the image when you open it up there will be two little magnifying glasses with + and - sign, click on the + to enlarge the image to view it ok.

This will make it readable because the image is not very good so you will need to use the magnifying glass ok. If you can't read it I can send you the details of whats on it ok.
