I am looking for info on great, great grandfarther Thomas William Marshall born 1884/85 born in Bradspeth somewhere near Durham i think, had info he may have been adopted can any one look up census info please x

I can't find a likely Thomas with parents in 1891 so you may have to buy the certificate to get his parent's names.

I think the 1891 census that Sylvia found is the right one, but I think where it says "grandson" it actually says "adopted son" on the image, so it WILL be a case of buying the birth certificate unfortunately.

I peered and peered at that image, and couldn't decide whether it was adopted or grand ....... i tried enlarging it, but still couldn't decide!
