Hi could anyone please help.Im trying to locate records for Harry W Burgess Coombs.He was my great grandmothers 2nd husband,her name was Gladys Amelia Jepson nee Ayling.I have very little info on Harry as the database im using has records missing which are prob why im having a prob.I have phone records from 1930-1972 which were for Hastings,E.Sussex.He had a daughter from his first marriage Enid .I think Gladys and Harry married between 1940-60.Gladys died in Hastings 1972.I would really like to have Harrys birth,marriage,death records or any one of them.I have been stuck a few days on this and am new to family trees and would really appreciate help.

I wonder if this could be him?

I willl look into it,Thankyou.Am pretty sure his first name was Harry though and the phone records i have state the name H W Burgess Coombs and the address is def right cos i visited the house when i was v.young.Thankyou though again wonder if it could be a census error the name Henry?

Very common for someone named Henry to be called Harry. Just like Prince Harry whose real name is Henry

Thanks been looking and found marriage record for Henry W Burgess Coombs and Jepson in 1946.Really appreciate your help on that,and also never knew Prince Harrys name was Henry.
