Help needed for the 1901 census please !

Looking to find a Thomas POINTON , he married Kathleen PRICE IN June 1915 , looking to find him in the 1901 index which should hopefully lead me to his parents etc
Also if poss Leads for Kathleen , they married in Meriden so this is where hopefully they can be found

Not sure when the marriage age changed but it is possible that they were born after the 1901 census

Without knowing how old each of them was stated to be when they married, it's a bit chancy looking for them in censuses.........the cert would give you the info; plus the names and occupations of their fathers.

Do you know if either of them had been married previously?

I apologise Kathleen had a middle name beginiNg with M , so it was Kathleen M PRCE before marriage

Forgot that my computer crashed and now do not have the details stored about marriage age but I think it was 14 for boys and 12 for girls up to the 1920's


Looks like the only way is to get the marriage cert.

She's listed as Kate Price when she married.

so would we have an approx age on how old she was at time of marriage at all

but i would think this is Thomas and Kates daughters birth incase you havent got it.

nothing for 1921 but the first quarter (jan feb mar) of the index is missing checked 1920 and 1922 and nothing there either.
if you want me to look for anything else i will give it ago for you tomorrow,
