advice please on finding grave

Hi Pete,yes thats the very one. I have just e mailed the council and asked if they can find his grave for me so fingers crossed.I really dont know where to look I have even walked around the graveyards of Tipton but without a plot number its pointless. Thankyou for your help it is really appreciated. |

The website familyhistoryonline.net has a partial database of Staffordshire burials. Although far from complete, particularly after 1837, there are some parishes covered in to the 1900's. Tipton is one of those parishes. |

would the local council be able to help? If you gave them a ring or an email they might be able to tell you what cemetery and even what the grave number is on the plot. They have maps of the graveyards and can pin point where he is. I read somewhere that after 100 years the land (plot) becomes available again !! Not sure if it still applies or if it ever did but it's worth asking. ( i think that's council land) I may be wrong chicka. can someone advise me please on how to find someones grave? I am looking for my gt gt grandfather,he resided in Tipton West Mids but died in West Bromwich about 1906. Any ideas please? |
