Find Ancestors

Thank you everyone. Bit of a mystery - she is Ann Marr Lambton as adult, Ann Lambton at 14 and would appear to be Mary Ann at age 4. Phew - trust me to have an awkward one !! She emigrated to Australia with her husband and emigrated as Ann Marr Cotton !!

Unfortunately I do not have the actual marriage cert so cannot check fathers name there. However, if I can't positively identify her I'll have to send for it.

Rose & Vera got ther before me - I think that 1871 could be her just the name not recorded correctly as I think its a bit unlikely they would have 2 daughters named Mary - could be wrong though funnier things have happened!!

There is an Ann Lambton b.1867 on the 1881 Census, but she is a Domestic Servant for the Bainbridge family, and living in Lambton Street, so it may not be her original surname

Who did she marry? If you can find her in 1891 or 1901 you will get her age and place of birth.

I would appreciate it if anyone could locate Ann Marr Lambton b. 1866/7 on 1871 census for me. Unfortunately I have no other details. I suspect she was born County Durham as she married 1888 Durham Registration District. I do not know her parents or siblings which is why I am putting up this request. Thank you.
