After many years I have found a birthplace of my grandfather. Could anyone with access to the 1891/1901 census be able to do a look up for me? Alas it is a common name but here we are:- JAMES McMILLAN aged 1-2 on 1891 born Ricarton, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire parents William & Margaret. & 11-12 on the 1901.Thank you. Margaret |
