marriage date look-up please

I am trying to discover the marriage date of my grandfather Benjamin Cooksey (born 1894) to Hilda Wilson (born 1893). They married in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, around the year 1917.

Hey Susan

To get the date, you'll need to order the cert from the GRO or the local records office. Here are the details you will need

Marriages Mar 1919
COOKSEY Benjamin Wilson Rotherham 9c 1105
Wilson Hilda Cockney Rotherham 9c 1105

I got them from FreeBMD, i helpful site but it doesnt have a completed index yet so if you cant find something, check elsewhere.
