I'm assuming you have him in 1920 (Reney) and his sons (Isaac, James and Elmer) and their families? (Sometimes I find clues in later census, which is why I was looking. No clues, but thought I would mention it in case you hadn't seen them.)

George Franklin Raney Born in Tenn, about 1853 or 1854.Says both his parents were born in Tenn. This is all I have to go on ,
Please I hope someone can help me , I am at a brickwall .
