I see from the parish registers that a Mary Pennington was born 26 December 1851 and baptised at St. Thomas's on 27 January 1852. At least two siblings -- Elizabeth (1853) and Charles (1855). Parents were Abel Pennington (innkeeper) and Elizabeth. The inn was probably the Queen's Arms.

A Mary Elizabeth Pennington was born 12 September 1853, baptised at St. Thomas's on 11 October 1853. One elder sister (name unknown) and a younger sister, Ellen (1855). Parents were Bryan and Elizabeth Pennington, him a bricklayer of School Lane, but Mary Elizabeth born when they moved to Ashton Heath.

Probably the first one is the more likely candidate?

What sort of info are you looking for? Ancestors/descendants etc..

Do you know her parents? have you got the marriage certificate? Have you got all the census info and want to know what happened post 1901?

I am trying to find information on Mary Pennington, born around 1851 in Ashton, Lancashire. She married Thomas Critchley in 1876 in St Bede's chapel, Appleton, Prescot, and they had 6 children.

If anyone has any onformation about Mary, please contact me.
